I'm delighted to announce that I'll be joining Francesca Maffeo Gallery's artist roster. To celebrate, we'll be running a short workshop and book launch on Saturday the 2nd of December.
Here's the blurb:
Francesca Maffeo Gallery is pleased to announce Rhiannon Adam as a new gallery artist. To mark the occasion we are pleased to welcome her to the gallery for a book launch and polaroid workshop.
Rhiannon Adam, author of 'Polaroid: The Missing Manual' (Thames and Hudson, 2017) will lead an afternoon of Polaroid manipulation to coincide with a book launch event at Francesca Maffeo Gallery.
The workshop will take all participants through the basics of Polaroid cameras and films, from vintage cameras of the 60s and 70s through to the most modern analogue/digital hybrids, before moving on to demonstrate some of the myriad possibilities of creative manipulation.
Attendees will have the opportunity to dismantle the Polaroid film sheet to create a one-off piece of art and will leave with the knowledge and confidence to take their experiments further. Equally suitable for the novice or experienced Polaroid aficionado.
All materials will be provided and participants will not need to bring along anything other than themselves!
Ticket holders will also be able to purchase signed copies of 'Polaroid: The Missing Manual' at a discounted price of £14.95 (RRP £19.95)
