A Walks Whitechapel workshop with Laura Pannack and Rhiannon Adam!
This exclusive workshop day provides an intimate opportunity to explore how we approach making portraits whilst out and about, as well as offering participants support to reflect on larger long-term projects. The day will be divided into practical tasks with support and discussion on personal development and practice.
Based locally in the culturally and visually rich area of Whitechapel, participants will have the opportunity to explore making portraits in a dynamic and challenging environment - engaging with passers by. We will question and discuss how and why we make the pictures we do and how important the development of a relationship with a stranger is.
10 places are available @ £100 per person (plus Eventbrite fees) - this includes 1-2-1 constructive critical support and informal feedback sessions as well as practical 'in the field' exercises.
All participants must own a camera and have a basic knowledge of photography.
Analogue photography is encouraged, but not required.
Hours: 10:30 – 6:30
